Old Brewhouse includes a fully equipped kitchen and TV. Gate Lodge features a wood burning stove and a fully fitted kitchen. Hideaway includes a four poster double bed and a hammock. Burnieshed Cabin includes a wood burning stove, freezer blocks, and a two-hob camping stove. Wi-Fi is available at Easter Bamff, The Old Brewhouse, and The Gate Lodge. Use of the Honesty Shop/Cafe is available for WiFi at Birder's Bothy and Rewilder's Hut.

Guests can explore the Cateran Trail, featured in Observer Magazine's 10 best long-distance walks in UK. Guided walks are available with Malcolm and Rachel, specializing in showing people how to enjoy the countryside. Guided beaver watching is available to summer visitors at The Old Brewhouse. Daytime guided beaver, wetland, and wildlife tours of Bamff Estate are available. The beaver watch walk is an available option. The Scottish Woodland Skills Centre runs courses for adults and children, featuring skills such as green woodworking, charcoal making, bushcraft, and willow weaving.
Location and Access
Bamff Ecotourism is located in Alyth, 3 km from the Hill of Alyth and Alyth Den, and 4 km from Alyth Museum, Reekie Linn, and The Cateran Ecomuseum. From Edinburgh, take the M90 over the Forth Bridge signposted for Perth. To reach Bamff from Alyth, follow the Bamff Road signposted for Glenshee and Bridge of Cally for 2.5 miles. Transport to and from other sections of the Cateran Trail can be arranged. Free guided beaver watching is available to summer visitors.
Estate Information
Bamff Estate features open fields, planted woodlands, and wetlands enhanced by beavers. A path network surrounds the estate, including new self-closing gates and waymarkers along the routes. Tamworth pigs roam freely in the wildland area. Visitors can see species of duck, swans, and herons. The estate is managed with a focus on wildlife habitat and carbon sequestration.
